LEGACY OF CHAMPIONS
William Cheung
Cheung, the Grandmaster of Traditional Wing Chun (TWC) and head of the Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association (GTWCKFA), has received the Masters Award for lifetime achievement in Kung Fu from Martial Arts Australia. He played a pivotal role in introducing Bruce Lee to his master, Ip Man, during teenage years in Hong Kong.
Also trained under Duncan Leung and Moy Yat. In 1983, William Cheung accepted Sifu Whitmore as a personal student. In 1994, he was one of the first two students of 10th Level Gold Sash to receive his 3rd Degree ranking in the US.)
Jose (Chengui) Torres
professional middleweight champion José «Chegüi» Torres. light-heavyweight championships. Torres trained with the legendary boxing trainer Cus D'Amato. In 1997, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
